Hällefors municipality lies in Västmanland, close to both Värmland and Dalarna.Our beautiful surroundings invite you to many different activities. Hiking on trails or in nature-reserves, fishing or canoeing in more than 400 lakes and waterways or biking on roads through our deep forests.
Food and design
In our area you find The House of Culinary Art and many nice restaurants with local food. Local specialities such as cloudberrywine, blue cheese from sheeps-milk and wild delicacies are made in the area.In the House of Design you can follow the development of industrial design in the 20th century and our three sculpture-parks show sculptures of many Swedish artists.
